Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to assess the role of supervisor engineers in the management of rice production in the Shoushtar Township. This study is an applied research and conducted by survey. Research method was descriptive-correlative and causal inductive. The population covered by supervisor engineers was (N1 = 1249) and non-covered was (N2 = 258). The sample, respectively (n1 = 216) and (n2 = 135) were determined. To confirm the validity was used panel of experts. For reliability, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used in all cases is greater than 7.0. According to the results of the mean of the production management in the field covered by supervisor engineers and non-covered there is a significant difference in the production management. The result suggests that the supervisor engineers the management of the production process in 3 stages of rice were good. Based on the obtained correlation between the number of contacts with supervisor engineers and supervisor engineers visit farmers with production management there was a significant positive correlation in (99%) level. Also with 99% confidence, the average production management according participating in training courses organized by the engineers, there is a significant difference
