Abstract :

The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the factors affecting the social responsibility of farmers in the irrigation and drainage network of Varamin Plain for the development of cooperative management. research method according to the purpose, applied; According to the type of data, quantitative; According to the method of data collection or the nature and method of the research, it was descriptive-analytical. The statistical population included all the farmers and operators of the Varamin Plain irrigation network, whose number was considered to be approximately 10,000 people, and using the simple random sampling method and through Cochran's formula, the number of 200 people was selected as the sample size. became in this research, a researcher-made questionnaire was used. The validity of the questionnaire in terms of form and content was confirmed by receiving experts' opinions, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to measure reliability, and the obtained coefficients indicated the appropriate validity and reliability of the instrument. The descriptive results of the research showed that the average age of the subjects was 51.11 years, the youngest was 31 and the oldest was 72 years old. 10.5% of the people studied were illiterate, 86% had a diploma or lower education, 2% had a postgraduate education, and 1.5% had a bachelor's degree. The research on the social responsibility of the studied people shows that in terms of social responsibility,were,in the very weak group, 14% in the weak group, 45.5% in the strong group, and 33% in the very strong group.
