Abstract :
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between cultural intelligence and knowledge management in public libraries of the Khuzestan province. Method: This study was conducted by descriptive survey method. The research population consists of librarians in public libraries in Khuzestan that were 230 totally and sample of 145 librarians were determined based on Krejcie-Morgan table by stratified random sampling method. In order to measure each of the variables, a separate questionnaire was used. To measure cultural intelligence four factors Vndayn and stigma (Van Dyne & Ang, 2004) questionnaire was used. Knowledge management instrument is a questionnaire that extracted from the questionnaire of Khargani and Selseleh research (1385) with some changes to meet the objectives of this study. To investigate the questions, simple and multiple regression and Pearson correlation coefficients were used. Findings: The findings showed a positive correlation between cultural intelligence and knowledge management. Meanwhile, of cultural intelligence dimensions (cognitive, meta-cognitive, motivational and behavioral) , two dimensions of meta cognitive and cognitive had positive and significant relationship with knowledge management. Conclusion: Due to the cultural intelligence and strengthened it in various organizations can step in order to improve interpersonal relationships and facilitate knowledge management processe
