Social Accreditation on the Concept of Belonging in Historical Neighborhoods (Case study: Dardasht Neighborhood of Isfahan)

Abstract :

Dardasht neighborhood is the main core of Isfahan city development and one of the valuable contexts with historical and cultural capabilities in this city. Currently, there are different social groups living in this neighborhood, and naturally, their degree of dependence on the historical, cultural and indigenous values ​​of this neighborhood is different. The basic belief of this research is that there is a direct relationship between the type of occupation, gender and age group of residents and the degree of belonging to the neighborhood. This article aims to examine the degree of belonging to the indigenous settlement in this neighborhood and based on it to identify the belonging social groups as social assets in this historical context in order to preserve and prevent the erosion of this valuable context. Take effective action.This research, based on interpretive and structuralist paradigms, after identifying the documented components of similar previous researches, will conduct a survey and query to extract meaningful results. Based on this, the research is based on attitude measurement and uses documentary strategies in the theoretical section and qualitative social survey in the field section. The analysis revealed that the elderly age group with the job of shopkeeper for men and housekeeper for women had the highest sense of place belonging to their neighborhood and the lowest sense of belonging to the neighborhood in this neighborhood was related to the young age group and the occupational group of doctors.
