Abstract :
Information literacy is increasingly important in today's world, which is the era of rapid technological changes and the abundance of information sources. Due to the increasing complexity of these situations, people are faced with multiple and diverse information options in academic research, at work, and in personal life. Therefore, the main question of the research is, what are the factors and components affecting the measurement of information literacy of journalists? The main goal of this research is to design a model for measuring journalists' information literacy. This study is based on a qualitative approach. In the qualitative part, this research is exploratory in terms of its purpose, and in the form of developmental-applied research, and in terms of the data collection method, it is descriptive-survey. In order to achieve the goals of the current study, in the first step, the factors and components of journalists' information literacy were identified and extracted through comprehensive library reviews and evaluation of past studies. In the next step, the factors and components were identified using the Delphi method. The current research community in the qualitative section are professors and experts in the field of news. In the qualitative part, the purposeful sampling method is used, that is, sampling is done until the saturation point is reached. In the panel of experts, 10 people were selected. Delphi questionnaire was used for measurement in the qualitative part. The results of the Delphi method show that the respondents have a total of 7 factors and 30 components for information literacy, which includes the information environment, information technology standards, information literacy skills, information literacy tools, Personal factors, regional factors and consequences of information literacy were raised.
