Abstract :

After the coming to power of Mohammad Reza Shah and the withdrawal of America from political isolation, this country has been the most influential factor in the domestic and foreign affairs of the Pahlavi regime. Mohammad Reza Shah, who came to power with the help of countries such as America and England, was not very unhappy with this dependence;

Lack of legitimacy, poverty, lack of popular base, political suffocation, etc. had turned Iran into a country dependent on capitalist countries, especially America.

effect on the integration of the country's goals with American policies. As the Shah herself personally and clearly declares: "The basic goals of us and the nations of Western democracy are the same, and this equality of ideals is a source of pride for us and the nations of the West." Therefore, after the coup d'état of August 28, by adopting the policy of positive nationalism as an alternative to the negative balance policy of Zaman Mossadegh, Mohdreza Shah presented this dependence in a justifiable and popular way. The principles of positive nationalism were based on the three principles of ensuring international peace and stability, comprehensive participation in programs to ensure collective security in social and economic fields, strengthening the defense organization and respecting the agreements on the security of the population and preserving the territorial integrity of Iran.(Azghande.1379.p404)
