Abstract :

Background and Objective Land degradation is one of the destructive phenomena that threaten the stability and security of ecosystems, especially in arid areas. Land degradation can lead to reduced soil fertility and productivity, population migration and displacement, food insecurity, and ecosystem destruction. Despite widespread efforts to combat land degradation, this problem has not only not diminished in recent decades but has gradually intensified. Therefore, monitoring land degradation and revealing its characteristics is essential for land management and recovery, and this monitoring in arid areas facilitates proper management and control of this phenomenon. Monitoring of land degradation in these areas is possible using remote sensing data so that this science will be widely used to monitor land degradation in areas. Considering the importance of land degradation and the need for land monitoring, this study was performed to understandthe degradation situation in Isfahan city properly. Also, this study tries to create appropriate and timely management for the spread of degradation using modeling of environmental indicators obtained from satellite data in the period 2011-2021.Materials and Methods In this study, Landsat satellite imagery, TM, and OLI sensors were used to study the trend of land-use change. In addition, the data from field visits were also used as ancillary information. Satellite images were processed and analyzed in ENVI software environment. The supervised maximum classification method was used to prepare a map of land-use changes. Then, all land uses in the study area were divided into agricultural lands, rangelands, barren and saline lands, and urban and man-made areas. Finally, the obtained layers were transferred to ArcGIS software to calculate the land use area and prepare a suitable output map. After investigating land-use changes, SI soil salinity indices and Albedo climatic index, NDVI, and the LSM vegetation index were designed using the maximum likelihood method. SI soil salinity index is one of the main indicators of land degradation assessment. This index extracted from satellite images can assess soil salinity in arid and semi-arid regions, calculated using Equation SI=√(ρ_Blue×ρ_Red ) (ρBlue and ρRed, are the red and blue bands on the TM and OLI sensors, respectively). The surface albedo index obtained from remote sensing data is a physical parameter that expresses the sun's surface reflection characteristics and short wavelengths. This physical parameter is affected by vegetation, soil moisture, and other surface conditions. Therefore, by studying the changes in Albedo, it is possible to look at the changes in the ground surface and the result of land degradation. Equation AIbedo = 0.356 ρ_Blue + 0.130ρ_Red +0.373ρ_NIR+0.085ρ_SWIR1+0.072ρ_SWIR2-0.018 (The ρ band corresponds to the Landsat TM and OLI sensor images) was used to calculate the surface albedo in TM and OLI sensors in this study. The NDVI index, which is obtained from Landsat satellite images, TM and OLI sensors, was used to study the vegetation in this study. This index is most sensitive to changes in vegetation and is less susceptible to the effects of climate and soil, except in cases where vegetation is low. Another important parameter for land degradation is soil moisture content, which was studied using changes in the LSM index. Finally, the primary component analysis (PCA) method between Albedo, SI, NDVI, and LSM indices was used to estimate land degradation (LD) in 2011, 2016, and 2021. First, the desired indicators were normalized, and then the amount of land degradation for each year was estimated. So that large amounts of land degradation indicate the maximum land degradation.Results and Discussion The trend of land-use changes in Isfahan city in four uses of agricultural lands, rangelands, barren and saline lands, and urban and man-made areas in the period of 2011-2021 showed that between 2011-2016, agricultural lands and rangelands have decreased by 5.7 and 5.06, respectively. In contrast, barren and saline lands and urban and man-made areas increased by 10.45% and 1.51%, respectively. On the other hand, from 2016 to 2021, agricultural lands and rangelands have decreased by 0.75 and 1.25 percent, respectively, and barren and salty lands, urban and man-made areas have increased by 1.51 and 0.5 percent, respectively. Also, from 2011 to 2021, agricultural lands and rangelands decreased by 6.45 and 6.32 percent, respectively, and land use of barren and salty lands, urban and man-made areas increased by 11.96 and 0.8 percent, respectively. The study of the trend of land use changes showed that in this period of 10 years, the trend of destruction of agricultural lands and rangelands was decreasing, and barren and saline land and urban and man-made areas were increasing. The changes in desertification classes showed that the medium, high, and very high desertification classes have increased. The area of desert lands rose from 3428, 2817, and 1340 in 2011 to 4079, 4276, and 4302 Km2 in 1400, respectively. Low and very low classes have changed from 2826 and 5295 in 2011 to 574 and 2475 Km2 in 2021. These changes indicate an increase in desertification in Isfahan, which is due to land-use changes, especially the conversion of rangelands into agricultural lands and frequent droughts and drying of the Zayanderud River, which abandoned agricultural lands and turned them into barren and salty lands. On the other hand, with the dryness of the air, frequent droughts, and drying of the Zayanderud River, the soil moisture has decreased, which has caused salinization of the soil and increased unusable quality lands of this city. Also downstream of the Zayanderud River is Gavkhoni Wetland, one of the most important wetlands in Iran. Due to the reduction of incoming water, the surrounding beds have become barren and saline lands, which indicates the increasing desertification of this wetland.Conclusion It can be concluded that by using the indicators estimated from remote sensing images, it is possible to monitor the destruction and desertification process with reasonable accuracy and put the necessary measures to deal with this destructive phenomenon on the agenda. In this study, the process of land degradation in Isfahan city was estimated over time, based on which the necessary programs and policies can be applied to deal with this phenomenon.

ارزیابی تخریب اراضی با استفاده از داده‌های سنجش‌از‌دور ماهواره لندست در بازه زمانی 1400-1390(مطالعه موردی: شهرستان اصفهان)

چکیده

تخریب اراضی یکی از پدیده‌های مخرب است که ثبات و امنیت اکوسیستم‌ها را در همه مناطق به‌ویژه در مناطق خشک تهدید می‌کند. پایش تخریب اراضی در مناطق خشک امکان مدیریت صحیح و مبارزه با این پدیده را تسهیل می‌کند. بدین منظور در تحقیق حاضر از شاخص‌های پوشش گیاهی (NDVI)، شوری خاک (SI)، رطوبت خاک ((LSM و شاخص اقلیمی آلبیدو (Albedo) برای بررسی دقیق تخریب اراضی استفاده شد؛ همچنین با استفاده آنالیز مولفه‌های اولیه رابطه بین این شاخص‌ها با همدیگر مورد بررسی قرار گرفت و در نهایت با استفاده از آنالیز همبستگی اولیه (PCA)، مدل تخریب اراضی ‌(LD) برای شهرستان اصفهان برآورد گردید. این شاخص‌ها و نقشه تغییرات کاربری اراضی از تصاویر لندست 5 و 8 برای سال‌های 1390، 1395 و 1400 برآورد گردید. اراضی کشاورزی و مراتع در بازه زمانی 1400-1390 به‌ترتیب کاهش 45/6 و 32/6 درصدی و کاربری‌های اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق مسکونی و انسان ساخت به‌ترتیب افزایش 96/11 و 8/0 درصدی داشته‌اند. همبستگی بین شاخص NDVI با شاخص‌های SI و Albedo در سال 1400 به‌ترتیب منفی و معنی‌دار بوده، در حالی‌که با LSM همبستگی مثبت و معنی‌دار نشان داد؛ همچنین بین LSM و SI با 86/0 همبستگی منفی با ضریب تبیین بالای 8/0 مشاهده شد. از طرفی نیز بین Albedo و SI و LSM به‌ترتیب با 90/0 و 95/0 همبستگی مثبت و منفی برقرار بود. بررسی تغییرات کلاس‌های مختلف در بازه زمانی 1400-1390 نشان داد که کلاس‌های خیلی کم و کم تخریب اراضی به‌ترتیب 34/14 و 96/17 درصد کاهش داشتند، در حالی‌که کلاس‌های متوسط، زیاد و خیلی زیاد به‌ترتیب حدود 15/4، 29/9 و 86/18 درصد افزایش یافته‌اند. با استفاده از نتایج حاصل از این پژوهش می‌توان روند تغییرات طولانی مدت تخریب اراضی را در واحد پیکسل با دقت و سرعت بالا برای نقاط مختلف پایش کرد و برنامه‌ها و سیاست‌های لازم برای مقابله با این پدیده را اعمال نمود.

Assessment of land degradation using Landsat satellite data in the period 2011-2021 (Case Study: Isfahan county)

Abstract

Land degradation is one of the destructive phenomena that threatens the stability and security of ecosystems in all areas, especially in arid areas. Monitoring land degradation in arid areas facilitates proper management and control of this phenomenon. For this purpose, in the present study, vegetation indices (NDVI), soil salinity (SI), soil moisture (LSM) and Albedo climate index were used to accurately study land degradation; Also, using correlation analysis, the relationship between these indicators was examined and finally, using initial correlation analysis (PCA), land degradation model ‌ (LD) was estimated for Isfahan county. These indicators and land use change maps were estimated from Landsat 5 and 8 images for 2011, 2016 and 2021. Agricultural lands and rangelands in the period of 2011-2021 have decreased by 6.45 and 6.32 percent, respectively, and land use of barren and salty lands and urban and man-made areas have increased by 11.96 and 0.8 percent, respectively. The correlation between NDVI index with SI and Albedo indices in 1400 was negative and significant, respectively, while it showed a positive and significant correlation with LSM. Also, a negative correlation was observed between LSM and SI with 0.86 with an explanation coefficient above 0.8. On the other hand, there was a positive and negative correlation between Albedo, SI and LSM with 0.90 and 0.95, respectively. Examination of the changes of different classes in the period of 2011-2021 showed that the very low and low land degradation classes decreased by 14.34 and 17.96%, respectively, while the medium, high and very high classes decreased by about 4.15 and 9.29, respectively. And increased by 18.86%. Using the results of this study, it is possible to estimate the trend of land degradation Monitored in pixels unit with accuracy and high-speed for different points and apply the necessary programs and policies to deal with this phenomenon.

مقدمه

تخریب اراضی یک فرآیند زیست‌محیطی مخرب است که به شیوه‌های مختلفی تعریف شده است. برخی از محققین آن‌ را کاهش پتانسیل تولید اراضی و یا کاهش عملکرد اکوسیستم در دراز مدت تعریف کرده‌اند (11). برخی نیز آن را تأثیر منفی فعالیت‌های انسانی بر کاهش منابع، در طول زمان، تعریف کرده‌اند (21). تخریب اراضی تهدید مهمی برای ثبات و امنیت اکوسیستم‌ها، به‌ویژه در مناطق مستعد فرسایش است (26). عواملی مانند استفاده بی‌رویه از منابع خاک و آب، سد سازی، کاهش بارندگی و افزایش دما از جمله عواملی هستند که باعث افزایش تخریب اراضی می‌شوند. تخریب اراضی می‌تواند منجر به کاهش حاصلخیزی و بهره‌وری خاک، مهاجرت و جابه جایی جمعیت، ناامنی غذایی و نابودی اکوسیستم‌ها شود (12). علیرغم اقدامات گسترده در زمینه مقابله با تخریب اراضی، این مشکل در دهه‌های اخیر نه‌تنها کاهش نیافته است، بلکه به‌تدریج تشدید شده است (26). بنابراین، پایش تخریب اراضی و آشکارسازی ویژگی‌های آن برای مدیریت و بازیابی کیفیت اراضی ضروری است.

در دهه‌های اخیر، تخریب اراضی توجه بسیاری از محققان رشته‌های مختلف را در سراسر جهان به خود جلب کرده است. امروزه از شاخص‌ها (مانند شاخص پوشش گیاهی، شاخص بیابان‌زایی و غیره) و روش‌های مختلفی برای پایش تخریب اراضی استفاده می‌شود که اساس چنین کارهایی استفاده از داده‌های ماهواره‌ای و استفاده از علم سیستم اطلاعالت جغرافیایی است (5، 13 و 22). این مطالعات و روش‌ها، درک مکانیسم تخریب اراضی و عوامل مؤثر بر آن و همچنین یافتن راهکارهایی اساسی برای مقابله با آن را در مقیاس منطقه‌ای و جهانی تسهیل کرده است. با این وجود، ویژگی‌ها و عوامل مؤثر بر تخریب اراضی برای هر منطقه متفاوت است، این مطالعات به‌دنبال ایجاد چارچوب یا شاخص ارزیابی تخریب اراضی می‌باشند، که ممکن است بر دقت ارزیابی نتایج تأثیر بگذارد(14). بنابراین، انتخاب شاخص‌هایی که نمایانگر ویژگی‌های اکولوژیکی منطقه مورد ارزیابی باشند، می‌تواند معقولیت ارزیابی تخریب اراضی را افزایش دهد. به‌عنوان مثال در مناطق شور، هنگام پایش تخریب اراضی، شاخص شوری (SI)، که اطلاعات مربوط به شوری شدن خاک را منعکس می‌کند، به‌عنوان یک فاکتور هم در نظر گرفته می‌شود (15). علاوه بر این، شاخص‌هایی مانند شاخص نرمالیزه شده پوشش گیاهی (Normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI)) (4)، آلبیدو (28) و رطوبت خاک (14)، که از داده‌های سنجش از دور استخراج می‌شوند، به‌طور گسترده‌ای برای پایش تخریب اراضی منطقه‌ای مورد استفاده قرار خواهند گرفت. NDVI یکی از شاخص‌های پرکاربرد برای پایش تخریب اراضی می‌باشد، زیرا می‌تواند اطلاعات سبزینگی پوشش گیاهی و اطلاعات زیست توده را به‌طور دقیق منعکس کند (24). آلبیدو(Albedo) سطحی ارتباط نزدیکی باتخریب پوشش گیاهی و سطح خاک دارد. افزایش آلبیدو را می‌توان به‌عنوان یک شاخص غیر مستقیم برای تشخیص تخریب پوشش سطح خاک در مناطق خشک استفاده کرد (21). علاوه بر این، شاخص رطوبت خاک Land Surface Soil Moisture Index (LSM)  می‌تواند محتوای آب خاک را منعکس کند و یک شاخص کلیدی برای پایش تخریب اراضی در مناطق خشک باشد (24).

ترکیبی از شاخص‌های ذکر شدهNDVI ، LSM ،SI و Albedo می‌تواند درک جامعی از تخریب اراضی در مناطق مستعد و در حال تخریب، برای مدیریت اراضی مناطق مختلف ارائه دهد (14، 21 و 23). بنابراین، برای ارزیابی تخریب اراضی یک منطقه از لحاظ وضعیت تخریب، مجموعه‌ای از شاخص‌ها مانند پوشش گیاهی، رطوبت خاک، آلبیدو بایستی مورد بررسی قرار گیرد تا بتوان جنبه‌های مختلف تخریب اراضی را به‌خوبی مطالعه قرار داد. به‌دلیل تغییرات اقلیمی، گرم شدن هوا و کاهش سطح آب زیر زمینی در اکثر اراضی شهرستان اصفهان، اراضی آن تحت تأثیر تخریب قرار گرفته و از این جهت بررسی و تعیین وضعیت اراضی آن از نظر پتانسل تخریب اراضی و شناخت عوامل مؤثر بر تخریب اراضی این شهرستان ضروری به‌نظر می‌رسد. باتوجه به اهمیت موضوع تخریب اراضی و نیاز به پایش اراضی جهت دستیابی به درک درستی از وضعیت منطقه و به‌دنبال آن ایجاد مدیریت مناسب و به موقع جهت جلوگیری از گسترش تخریب، این تحقیق با هدف بررسی وضعیت تخریب اراضی شهرستان اصفهان با استفاده از مدل‌سازی شاخص‌های محیطی حاصل از داده‌های ماهواره‌ای در بازه زمانی 1400-1390 انجام شد.

معرفی منطقه شهرستان اصفهان

شهرستان اصفهان داری مساحت حدود 1507 کیلومتر‌مربع است. این شهرستان در جنوب شرق استان اصفهان واقع شده است؛ موقعیت جغرافیایی آن بین طول‌های '15"30 °51 و '15"30 °52 شرقی و عرض‌های '15"30 °31 و '00"15 °33 شمالی قرار دارد. متوسط بارندگی سالانه 106 میلی‌متر و میانگین دمای سالانه 15 درجه ‌سانتی‌گراد می‌باشد (3، 14). حداقل ارتفاع این شهرستان 1417 و حداکثر ارتفاع آن 3316 متر می‌باشد. شکل 1 موقعیت استان اصفهان را در کشور ایران و موقعیت شهرستان اصفهان را در استان اصفهان نشان می‌دهد.

روش تحقیق

کاربری اراضی سال‌های 1390، 1395 و 1400

در این تحقیق به‌منظور بررسی روند تغییرات کاربری اراضی در شهرستان اصفهان درسال‌های 1390، 1395 و 1400 از تصاویر ماهواره‌ای لندست استفاده شد، به طوری که برای تهیه نقشه کاربری اراضی سال 1390 از تصاویر سنجنده‌ TM و برای تهیه نقشه کاربری اراضی سال‌های 1395 و 1400 از تصاویر سنجنده OLI استفاده گردید و از داده‌های حاصل از بازدید میدانی، نقشه‌های موجود و اطلاعات بدست آمده از سامانه گوگل ارث به‌عنوان اطلاعات جانبی در تهیه و ارزیابی نقشه‌ها استفاده گردید. پردازش و تحلیل تصاویر ماهواره‌ای در محیط نرم‌افزار  ENVI 5.3صورت گرفت. به‌منظور تهیۀ نقشۀ تغییرات کاربری اراضی، روش طبقه‌بندی نظارت ‌شده حداکثر احتمال بکار گرفته شد (8). در روش حداکثر احتمال، احتمال تعداد پیکسل‌ها به هر یک از طبقات محاسبه گردید و بر اساس بالاترین میزان احتمال، عمل طبقه‌بندی و اختصاص پیکسل‌ها به طبقات صورت گرفت. گام اول در انجام طبقه‌بندی نظارت‌ شده، تعیین نوع و تعداد طبقه‌ها بود و این نوع طبقه‌بندی بر پایۀ پیش شناخت دقیق طبقه‌بندی‌های مورد نظر استوار بود؛ بدین منظور برای تعیین هر نوع کاربری نمونه‌های تعلیمی در طبقه‌بندی داده‌ها به‌کار برده شد (9)، سپس تمامی کاربری‌های منطقۀ مورد مطالعه در چهار کاربری اراضی کشاورزی، مراتع، اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت تقسیم‌بندی شدند. در نهایت لایه‌های بدست آمده، جهت محاسبۀ مساحت کاربری‌ها و تهیۀ نقشۀ خروجی مناسب به نرم‌افزار ArcGIS 10.8 منتقل گردید.

ارزیابی صحت نقشه‌های پوشش اراضی

پس از طبقه‌بندی تصاویر ماهواره‌ای با استفاده از ماتریس خطا و محاسبه ضرایب صحت کلی (Overall Acuracy) و ضریب کاپا (Kappa coefficient) صحت تصاویر طبقه‌بندی شده مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. صحت کلی از جمع عناصر قطر اصلی ماتریس خطا بر تعداد پیکسل‌ها طبق رابطه1 محاسبه شد(3).

در این رابطه OA صحت کلی، N تعداد پیکسل‌های ،  جمع عناصر قطر اصلی ماتریس خطا می‌باشد.

شاخص کاپا پیکسل‌های نادرست طبقه‌بندی شده را مدنظر قرار می‌دهد و صحت طبقه‌بندی را نسبت به یک طبقه‌بندی کاملاً تصادفی محاسبه می‌کند. شاخص کاپا با استفاده از رابطه2 محاسبه گردید.

در این رابطه  درستی مشاهده شده،  توافق مورد انتظار می‌باشد(7).

 

برآورد شاخص‌های Albedo، SI، NDVI و LSM

پس از بررسی تغییرات کاربری اراضی با استفاده از روش حداکثر احتمال شاخص‌های شوری خاک SI و شاخص اقلیمی Albedo، شاخص پوشش گیاهی NDVI وLSM  تهیه شدند. شاخص‌ شوری خاک SI یکی از شاخص‌های اصلی ارزیابی تخریب سرزمین است؛ این شاخص استخراج شده از تصاویر ماهواره‌ای، قادر به ارزیابی شوری خاک در مناطق خشک و نیمه‌خشک می‌باشد که با استفاده از رابطه 3 محاسبه گردید.

در این فرمول  ρBlueو ρRed به‌ترتیب باند قرمز و آبی در سنجنده‌های TM و OLI در ماهواره لندست می‌باشند (16). شاخص آلبیدو سطحی بدست آمده از داده‌های سنجش از دور یک پارامتر فیزیکی است که ویژگی‌های بازتاب سطح و طول موج‌های کوتاه خورشید را بیان می‌کند. این پارامتر فیزیکی تحت تأثیر پوشش گیاهی، رطوبت خاک و سایر شرایط سطح زمین می‌باشد. بنابراین، با بررسی تغییرات آلبیدو می‌توان تغییرات در سطح زمین و نتیجه تخریب اراضی را به‌خوبی مورد بررسی قرار داد. برای محاسبه آلبدو سطح در سنجنده‌های TM و OLI در این مطالعه از رابطه 4 استفاده شد (21).

شاخص NDVI

برای بررسی پوشش گیاهی در این پژوهش، از شاخص NDVI که از تصاویر ماهواره لندست، سنجنده‌های TM و OLI به‌دست می‌آید، استفاده شد. اين شاخص بيشترين حساسيت را به تغييرات پوشش گياهي داشته و در مقابل اثرات جوي و زمينه خاك، به‌جز در مواردي كه پوشش گياهي كم باشد، حساسيت كمتري دارد (6). شاخص NDVI از طریق رابطه5 محاسبه مي‌شود.

در این رابطه NIR، بازتاب در باند فروسرخ نزديک و RED انعكاس در باند سرخ است. مقدار این شاخص در محدوده 1- و 1+ می‌باشد. هر چه پوشش گیاهی متراکم‌تر باشد این شاخص به‌سمت 1+ و هر چه پوشش گیاهی کم تراکم‌تر باشد به‌سمت 1- میل می‌نماید (7). پژوهش‌های قبلی نشان دادند که شاخص NDVI معمولأ به‌عنوان شاخص پوشش گیاهی، برای آنالیز وضعیت رشد پوشش گیاهی مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرد(2).

شاخص LSM

یکی دیگر از پارامتر‌های بسیار مهم برای بررسی تخریب اراضی، بررسی رطوبت سطحی خاک است که در این مطالعه با استفاده از تغییرات شاخصLSM  مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت. این شاخص بر اساس روابط 6 و 7 برای تصاویر ماهواره TM و OLI محاسبه گردید.

رابطه همبستگی بین شاخص‌های مورد بررسی 

در این مرحله همبستگی پیرسون بین شاخص‌های مختلف مورد بررسی درسال‌‌های 1390، 1395 و 1400 با استفاده از رابطه 8 محاسبه گردید (27).

 در اینجا Cxy = همبستگی بین شاخص x و y، Sx و Sy به انحراف معیار شاخص x و  yمی‌باشد. مقدار این شاخص بین 1 و 1- می‌باشد.

 

مدل تخریب اراضی 

در این مطالعه برای برآورد تخریب اراضی (LD) درسال‌های 1390، 1395 و 1400 از روش آنالیز مؤلفه‌های اولیه (PCA) بین شاخص‌های Albedo، SI، NDVI و LSM استفاده شد. ابتدا با استفاده از رابطه 9 شاخص‌های مورد نظر نرمال‌سازی شدند و سپس با استفاده از رابطه 10 مقدار تخریب اراضی برای هر سال برآورد گردید. براین اساس مقادیر زیاد LD نشان دهنده حداکثر تخریب اراضی می‌باشد.

NI= شاخص نرمال شده، I= شاخص مورد نظر، Imin و Imax به‌ترتیب حداقل و حداکثر مقدار شاخص مورد نظر مقدار این شاخص بین 0 تا 1 می‌باشد (26).

به‌منظور بررسی دقیق مقدار و تغییرات کلاس‌های مختلف بیابان‌زایی در کلاس‌های مختلفی طبقه‌بندی شد، طوری‌که LD در پنج طبقه بیابان‌زایی طبقه‌بندی شد که به کلاس خیلی کم (2/0-0)، کم (4/0-2/0)، متوسط (6/0-2/0)، شدید (8/0-6/0) و خیلی شدید (1-8/0) تقسیم بندی می‌شود (22).

نتایج

نتایج ارزیابی دقت چهار کاربری تغییرات کاربری اراضی شهرستان اصفهان در چهار کاربری اراضی کشاورزی، مراتع، اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت در بازه زمانی 1400-1390 نشان داد که دقت کلی بالای 89 درصد و ضریب کاپا نیز بالای 86/0 بوده که این نشان‌دهنده دقت مناسب و کافی نقشه‌های کاربری تهیه‌شده است (جدول 1).

بررسی روند تغییرات کاربری اراضی شهرستان اصفهان در چهار کاربری اراضی کشاورزی، مراتع، اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت در بازه زمانی 1400-1390 در شکل 2 و 3 آورده شده است. براساس این نتایج بین سال‌های 1395-1390 اراضی کشاورزی و مراتع به‌ترتیب 7/5 و 06/5 درصد کاهش داشت؛ در حالی‌که اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت به‌ترتیب 45/10 و 51/1 درصد افزایش داشتند. ازطرفی، در بازه زمانی 1400-1395 اراضی کشاورزی و مراتع به‌ترتیب 75/0 و 25/1 درصد کاهش و اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت 51/1 و 5/0 درصد افزایش نشان داده‌اند. همچنین در باز زمانی 1400-1390 اراضی کشاورزی و مراتع به‌ترتیب کاهش 45/6 و 32/6 درصدی و کاربری‌های اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق مسکونی و انسان ساخت به‌ترتیب افزایش 96/11 و 8/0 درصدی داشتند.

بررسی همبستگی بین شاخص‌های NDVI،SI ، LSM و Albedo در بازه زمانی 1400-1390

بررسی همبستگی بین شاخص‌های NDVI،SI ، LSM و Albedo در بازه زمانی 10 ساله مورد مطالعه در جدول 1 ارائه شده است. براساس نتایج حاصل از این جدول، در سال 1395 همبستگی بین شاخص NDVI با شاخص‌های SI  و Albedo به‌ترتیب با 67/0 و 65/0 همبستگی منفی در حالی‌که با LSM با 63/0 همبستگی مثبت نشان داده است. همچنین بین LSM و SI با 97/0 همبستگی منفی دیده شده است. از طرفی نیز بین Albedo، SI و LSM به‌ترتیب با 88/0 و 87/0 همبستگی مثبت و منفی برقرار بوده است. در سال 1395 نیز همبستگی بین شاخص NDVI با شاخص‌های SI و Albedo به‌ترتیب با 75/0 و 58/0 همبستگی منفی در حالی­که با LSM با 8/0 همبستگی مثبت نشان داد. همچنین بین LSM و SI با 92/0 همبستگی منفی دیده شده است. از طرفی دیگر بین Albedo، SI و LSM به‌ترتیب با 92/0 و 85/0 همبستگی مثبت و منفی وجود داشت. در سال 1400 نیز همبستگی بین شاخص NDVI با شاخص‌های SI و Albedo به‌ترتیب با 78/0 و 76/0 همبستگی منفی مشاهده شد در حالی­که با LSM با 76/0 همبستگی مثبت نشان داده است. همچنین بین LSM و SI با 86/0 همبستگی منفی دیده شده است. از طرفی دیگر بین Albedo و SI و LSM به‌ترتیب با 95/0 و 98/0 همبستگی مثبت و منفی برقرار بوده است.

بررسی روند تغییرات کلاس‌های تخریب اراضی 

نتایج حاصل از بررسی تغییرات کلاس‌های مختلف تخریب اراضی در بازه زمانی 1400-1390 در شکل 4 و 5 ارائه شده است. براساس نتایج بدست آمده، در سال 1390، بیشترین درصد مساحت، متعلق به کلاس‌های خیلی‌کم، کم و متوسط با 53/73 می‌باشد؛ در سال 1395 و 1400، بیشترین درصد مساحت، متعلق به کلاس‌های متوسط، زیاد و خیلی زیاد با 35/65 و 59/80 درصد است. براساس شکل 4 و 5، بین سال‌های 1395-1390 مساحت کلاس‌های خیلی کم و کم به‌ترتیب حدود 24/1 و 84/15 بود در حالی‌که مساحت کلاس‌های متوسط، شدید و خیلی شدید به‌ترتیب حدود 53/2، 91/2 و 65/11 درصد افزایش داشته‌اند. در بازه زمانی 1400-1395 کلاس‌های خیلی کم و کم به‌ترتیب حدود 09/13 و 12/2 درصد کاهش و کلاس‌های متوسط، شدید و خیلی شدید به‌ترتیب 62/1، 38/6 و 21/7 درصد افزایش یافته‌اند. بررسی تغییرات کلاس‌های مختلف در بازه زمانی 1400-1390 نیز نشان داد که کلاس‌های خیلی کم و کم تخریب اراضی به‌ترتیب 34/14 و 96/17 درصد کاهش داشت این در حالی است که کلاس‌های متوسط، زیاد و خیلی زیاد به‌ترتیب حدود 15/4، 29/9 و 86/18 درصد افزایش نشان دادند.

بحث و نتیجه‌گیری

روش‌های مختلفی برای تخمین تخریب اراضی ارائه شده است. ارزیابی کمی تخریب اراضی به عوامل متفاوتی وابسته بوده و به داده‌ها و اطلاعاتی مختلفی نیازمند می‌باشد؛ ازجمله این داده‌ها می‌توان به شرایط خاک، اقلیم، کاربری زمین، توپوگرافی و غیره اشاره کرد (1). امروزه استفاده از سنجش از دور و سیستم اطلاعات جغرافیایی برای توصیف و درک تغییرات فعال در چشم اندازها بسیار کارآمد است (17). سنجش از دور یک ابزار کار آمد و مفید برای تشخیص، نقشه برداری و پایش تخریب و مشکلات حاصل از آن می‌باشد. در این مطالعه، برای براورد تخریب اراضی، بعد از بررسی روند تغییرات کاربری شهرستان اصفهان، از شاخص‌های مختلف NDVI،SI ، LSM و Albedo حاصل از تصاویر ماهواره لندست 8 و 5 برای سال‌های 1390، 1395 و 1400 استفاده شد. بررسی روند تغییرات کاربری اراضی نشان داد که در این بازه زمانی 10 ساله، روند تخریب اراضی کشاورزی و مراتع، کاهشی بوده و اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و همچنین مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت در حال افزایش بود. بین سال‌های 1390 تا 1400 اراضی مرتعی و کشاورزی به‌ترتیب از 1621 به 608 کیلومتر‌مربع رسیده است. بنابراین، زوال پوشش گیاهی در این شهرستان واضح است. براساس نتایج حاصل از تحقیق جعفری و هاشمی نسب (13) در بازه زمانی 1365 تا 1393 اراضی کشاورزی حاشیه زاینده ‌رود افزایش یافته که این افزایش اراضی کشاورزی بر اثر افزایش تغییر کاربری مرتع به اراضی کشاورزی بوده است. از طرفی، نتایج ما نشان داد که در این بازه زمانی اراضی بایر روند افزایشی داشت، به‌گونه‌ای که از 1288 در سال 1390 به 3169 کیلومتر‌مربع در سال 1400 رسید، همچنین مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت نیز روندی افزایشی داشته و در این بازه 10 ساله از 182 به 308 کیلومتر‌مربع رسیده است. نتایج سراسکانرودی و اسدی (3) نیز گویا این واقعیت است که در بازه زمانی 2000 تا 2018 در شهرستان اصفهان، مناطق کویری و آیش و همچنین مناطق مسکونی افزایش داشته است. افزایش مناطق کویری و آیش به‌دلیل خشکسالی و خشک شدن زاینده ‌رود و به‌دنبال آن رها کردن اراضی کشاورزی و زراعی می‌باشد. بررسی تغییرات کلاس‌های بیابان‌زایی نشان داد که در بازه زمانی مورد مطالعه، کلاس‌های متوسط، شدید و خیلی شدید بیابان‌زایی افزایش یافته به‌طوری‌که مساحت زمین‌های بیابانی به‌ترتیب از 3428، 2817 و 1340 در سال 1390 به 4079، 4276 و 4302 کیلومتر‌مربع در سال 1400 افزایش یافته است. کلاس‌های کم و خیلی کم نیز از 2826 و 5295 در سال 1390 به 574 و 2475 کیلومتر‌مربع در سال 1400 رسیده است. این تغییرات نشان دهنده افزایش بیابان‌زایی در شهرستان اصفهان است که این امر حاصل از تغییرات کاربری مخصوصاً تبدیل اراضی مرتع به اراضی کشاورزی و همچنین خشکسالی‌های مکرر و خشک شدن رودخانه زاینده رود که عامل رها کرد اراضی کشاورزی و تبدیل آنها به اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار می‌باشد (10). از طرفی با خشکی هوا ، خشکسالی‌های مکرر و مدیربت نامناسب آب ورودی به زاینده‌رود به شدت کاهش یافته به طوری که دبی ثبت شده در ایستگاه ورزنه در سال آبی 1390-1389 به 03/0 متر مربع در ثانیه رسیده است(17) که این خود باعث شور شدن خاک و افزایش غیر قابل استفاده شدن اراضی مرغوب این شهرستان شده است (16). همچنین در پایین دست رودخانه زاینده رود تالاب گاوخونی قرار دارد که یکی تالاب‌های مهم کشور ایران است و با توجه به کاهش آب ورودی بسترهای اطراف آن به اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار تبدیل شده که خود نشان دهنده افزایش بیابانی شدن این تالاب است (16). نتایج تحقیق حاضر بیان داشت که اراضی بایر و شوره زار از سال 1392 تا 1400 حدود 96/11 درصد افزایش داشته که به طور کامل تالاب گاوخونی را شامل می‌شود که نتایج تحقیق انجام شده توسط خسروشاهی و همکاران (17)، تایید کننده این نتایج است، براساس نتایج تحقیق آنها روند خشک شدن تالاب گاوخونی از سال 1372 که حدود 89 درصد آن پوشیده از آب بوده است و در سال 1392 حدود 90 درصد و در سال 1398 این تالاب کاملاً خشک شده است، همچنین بیان داشتند که، خشک شدن این تالاب یکی از پدیده‌های اصلی تخریب اراضی و بیابان‌زایی و یکی از منشأهای اصلی طوفان‌های گرد و غبار در شهرستان اصفهان و مناطق اطراف آن است. بنابراین، با استفاده از شاخص‌های برآورد شده از تصاویر سنجش دور، می‌تواند با دقتی مناسب روند تخریب و بیابان‌زایی را پایش کرد و اقدامت لازم برای مقابله با این پدیده مخرب را در دستور کار قرار داد.

ارزیابی تخریب اراضی با استفاده از داده‌های سنجش‌از‌دور ماهواره لندست در بازه زمانی 1400-1390(مطالعه موردی: شهرستان اصفهان)

مقدمه

تخریب اراضی یکی از پدیده‌های مخرب است که ثبات و امنیت اکوسیستم‌ها به ویژه در مناطق خشک را تهدید می‌کند. تخریب اراضی می‌تواند منجر به کاهش حاصلخیزی و بهره‌وری خاک، مهاجرت و جابه جایی جمعیت، ناامنی غذایی و نابودی اکوسیستم‌ها شود. علیرغم اقدامات گسترده در زمینه مقابله با تخریب اراضی، این مشکل در دهه‌های اخیر نه‌تنها کاهش نیافته است، بلکه به تدریج تشدید شده است. بنابراین، پایش تخریب اراضی و آشکارسازی ویژگی‌های آن برای مدیریت و بازیابی کیفیت اراضی ضروری است و این پایش در مناطق خشک امکان مدیریت صحیح و مبارزه با این پدیده را تسهیل می‌کند. پایش تخریب اراضی در این مناطق با استفاده از داده‌های سنجش از دور امکان پذیر است، به نحوی که این علم به‌طور گسترده‌ای برای پایش تخریب اراضی منطقه‌ای مورد استفاده قرار خواهد گرفت. باتوجه به اهمیت موضوع تخریب اراضی و نیاز به پایش اراضی جهت دستیابی به درک درستی از وضعیت شهرستان اصفهان و به‌دنبال آن ایجاد مدیریت مناسب و به موقع جهت جلوگیری از گسترش تخریب، این تحقیق با هدف بررسی وضعیت تخریب اراضی در این شهرستان  با استفاده از مدل‌سازی شاخص‌های محیطی حاصل از داده‌های ماهواره‌ای در بازه زمانی 1400-1390 انجام شد.

مواد و روش‌ها

در این تحقیق به­منظور بررسی روند تغییرات کاربری اراضی در حوزۀ مطالعاتی، از تصاویر ماهواره‌ای لندست، سنجنده‌های TM و OLI استفاده گردید و همچنین از داده‌های حاصل از بازدید میدانی به عنوان اطلاعات جانبی استفاده شد. پردازش و تحلیل تصاویر ماهواره‌ای در محیط نرم‌افزار  ENVI 5.3صورت گرفت. به‌منظور تهیۀ نقشۀ تغییرات کاربری اراضی، روش طبقه‌بندی نظارت ‌شده حداکثر احتمال بکار گرفته شد. سپس تمامی کاربری‌های منطقۀ مورد مطالعه در چهار کاربری اراضی کشاورزی، مراتع، اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت تقسیم‌بندی شدند. در نهایت لایه‌های بدست آمده، جهت محاسبۀ مساحت کاربری‌ها و تهیۀ نقشۀ خروجی مناسب به نرم افزار ArcGIS 10.8 منتقل گردید. پس از بررسی تغییرات کاربری اراضی با استفاده از روش حداکثر احتمال شاخص‌های شوری خاک SI و شاخص اقلیمی Albedo، شاخص پوشش گیاهی NDVI وLSM  تهیه شدند. شاخص‌ شوری خاک SI یکی از شاخص‌های اصلی ارزیابی تخریب سرزمین است؛ این شاخص استخراج شده از تصاویر ماهواره‌ای، قادر به ارزیابی شوری خاک در مناطق خشک و نیمه‌خشک می‌باشد که با استفاده از رابطه 1 محاسبه گردید.

در این فرمول  ρBlueو ρRed به‌ترتیب باند قرمز و آبی در سنجنده‌های TM و OLI در ماهواره لندست می‌باشند. شاخص آلبیدو سطحی بدست آمده از داده‌های سنجش از دور یک پارامتر فیزیکی است که ویژگی‌های بازتاب سطح و طول موج‌های کوتاه خورشید را بیان می‌کند. این پارامتر فیزیکی تحت تأثیر پوشش گیاهی، رطوبت خاک و سایر شرایط سطح زمین می‌باشد. بنابراین، با بررسی تغییرات آلبیدو می‌توان تغییرات در سطح زمین و نتیجه تخریب اراضی را به‌خوبی مورد بررسی قرار داد. برای محاسبه آلبدو سطح در سنجنده‌های TM و OLI در این مطالعه از رابطه 2 استفاده شد.

برای بررسی پوشش گیاهی در این پژوهش، از شاخص NDVI که از تصاویر ماهواره لندست، سنجنده‌های TM و OLI به‌دست می‌آید، استفاده شد. اين شاخص بيشترين حساسيت را به تغييرات پوشش گياهي داشته و در مقابل اثرات جوي و زمينه خاك، به جز در مواردي كه پوشش گياهي كم باشد، حساسيت كمتري دارد. یکی دیگر از پارامتر‌های بسیار مهم برای بررسی تخریب اراضی، بررسی رطوبت سطحی خاک است که در این مطالعه با استفاده از تغییرات شاخصLSM  مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت.در نهایت برای برآورد تخریب اراضی (LD) درسال‌های 1390، 1395 و 1400 از روش آنالیز مؤلفه‌های اولیه (PCA) بین شاخص‌های Albedo، SI، NDVI و LSM استفاده شد. ابتدا شاخص‌های مورد نظر نرمال‌سازی شدند و سپس مقدار تخریب اراضی برای هر سال برآورد گردید. به طوری که مقادیر زیاد تخریب اراضی نشان دهنده حداکثر تخریب اراضی می‌باشد.

نتایج

بررسی روند تغییرات کاربری اراضی شهرستان اصفهان در چهار کاربری اراضی کشاورزی، مراتع، اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت در بازه زمانی 1400-1390 نشان داد که بین سال‌های 1395-1390 اراضی کشاورزی و مراتع به ترتیب 7/5 و 06/5 درصد کاهش داشت؛ در حالی‌که اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت به ترتیب 45/10 و 51/1 درصد افزایش داشتند. ازطرفی، در بازه زمانی 1400-1395 اراضی کشاورزی و مراتع به‌ترتیب 75/0 و 25/1 درصد کاهش و اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت 51/1 و 5/0 درصد افزایش نشان داده‌اند. همچنین در باز زمانی 1400-1390 اراضی کشاورزی و مراتع به‌ترتیب کاهش 45/6 و 32/6 درصدی و کاربری‌های اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و مناطق مسکونی و انسان ساخت به ترتیب افزایش 96/11 و 8/0 درصدی داشتند. بررسی روند تغییرات کاربری اراضی نشان داد که در این بازه زمانی 10 ساله، روند تخریب اراضی کشاورزی و مراتع، کاهشی بوده و اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار و همچنین مناطق شهری و انسان ساخت در حال افزایش بود. بررسی تغییرات کلاس‌های بیابان‌زایی نشان داد که در بازه زمانی مورد مطالعه، کلاس‌های متوسط، شدید و خیلی شدید بیابان‌زایی افزایش یافته به‌طوری‌که مساحت زمین‌های بیابانی به‌ترتیب از 3428، 2817 و 1340 در سال 1390 به 4079، 4276 و 4302 کیلومتر‌مربع در سال 1400 افزایش یافته است. کلاس‌های کم و خیلی کم نیز از 2826 و 5295 در سال 1390 به 574 و 2475 کیلومتر‌مربع در سال 1400 رسیده است. این تغییرات نشان دهنده افزایش بیابان‌زایی در شهرستان اصفهان است که این امر حاصل از تغییرات کاربری مخصوصاً تبدیل اراضی مرتع به اراضی کشاورزی و همچنین خشکسالی‌های مکرر و خشک شدن رودخانه زاینده رود که عامل رها کرد اراضی کشاورزی و تبدیل آنها به اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار می‌باشد. از طرفی با خشکی هوا و خشکسالی‌های مکرر و خشک شدن زاینده ‌رود، رطوبت خاک کاهش یافته که این خود باعث شور شدن خاک و افزایش غیر قابل استفاده شدن اراضی مرغوب این شهرستان شده است. همچنین در پایین دست رودخانه زاینده رود تالاب گاوخونی قرار دارد که یکی تالاب‌های مهم کشور ایران است و با توجه به کاهش آب ورودی بسترهای اطراف آن به اراضی بایر و شوره‌زار تبدیل شده که خود نشان دهنده افزایش بیابانی شدن این تالاب است.

نتیجه‌گیری

بنابراین، با استفاده از شاخص‌های برآورد شده از تصاویر سنجش دور، می‌تواند با دقتی مناسب روند تخریب و بیابان‌زایی را پایش کرد و اقدامت لازم برای مقابله با این پدیده مخرب را در دستور کار قرار داد. با استفاده از نتایج حاصل از این پژوهش می‌توان روند تخریب اراضی شهرستان اصفهان را در گذر زمان برآورد کرد و برنامه‌ها و سیاست‌های لازم برای مقابله با این پدیده را اعمال نمود.

Assessment of land degradation using Landsat satellite data in the period 2011-2021 (Case Study: Isfahan city)

Introduction

Land degradation is one of the destructive phenomena that threaten the stability and security of ecosystems, especially in arid areas. Land degradation can lead to reduced soil fertility and productivity, population migration and displacement, food insecurity, and ecosystems' destruction. Despite widespread efforts to combat land degradation, this problem has not only not diminished in recent decades but has gradually intensified. Therefore, monitoring land degradation and revealing its characteristics is essential for land management and recovery, and this monitoring in arid areas facilitates proper management and control of this phenomenon. Monitoring of land degradation in these areas is possible using remote sensing data so that this science will be widely used to monitor land degradation in areas. Considering the importance of land degradation and the need for land monitoring, this study was performed to understand the degradation situation in Isfahan city properly. Also, this study tries to create appropriate and timely management for the spread of degradation using modeling of environmental indicators obtained from satellite data in the period 2011-2021.

Materials and methods

In this study, Landsat satellite imagery, TM, and OLI sensors were used to study the trend of land-use change. In addition, the data from field visits were also used as ancillary information. Satellite images were processed and analyzed in ENVI 5.3 software environment. The supervised maximum classification method was used to prepare a map of land-use changes. Then, all land uses in the study area were divided into agricultural lands, rangelands, barren and saline lands, and urban and man-made areas. Finally, the obtained layers were transferred to ArcGIS 10.8 software to calculate land use area and prepare a suitable output map. After investigating land-use changes, SI soil salinity indices and Albedo climatic index, NDVI, and LSM vegetation index were designed using the maximum likelihood method. SI soil salinity index is one of the main indicators of land degradation assessment. This index extracted from satellite images can assess soil salinity in arid and semi-arid regions, calculated using Equation 1.

This formula, ρBlue and ρRed, are the red and blue bands on the TM and OLI sensors, respectively. The surface albedo index obtained from remote sensing data is a physical parameter that expresses the sun's surface reflection characteristics and short wavelengths. This physical parameter is affected by vegetation, soil moisture, and other surface conditions. Therefore, by studying the changes in Albedo, it is possible to look at the changes in the ground surface and the result of land degradation. Equation 2 was used to calculate the surface albedo in TM and OLI sensors in this study.

The NDVI index, which is obtained from Landsat satellite images, TM and OLI sensors, was used to study the vegetation in this study. This index is most sensitive to changes in vegetation and is less susceptible to the effects of climate and soil, except in cases where vegetation is low. Another important parameter for land degradation is soil moisture content, which was studied using changes in the LSM index. Finally, the primary component analysis (PCA) method between Albedo, SI, NDVI, and LSM indices was used to estimate land degradation (LD) in 2011, 2016, and 2021. First, the desired indicators were normalized, and then the amount of land degradation for each year was estimated. So that large amounts of land degradation indicate the maximum land degradation.

Results

The trend of land-use changes in Isfahan city in four uses of agricultural lands, rangelands, barren and saline lands, and urban and man-made areas in the period of 2011-2021 showed that between 2011-2016, agricultural lands and rangelands has decreased 5.7 and 5.06, respectively. In contrast, barren and saline lands and urban and man-made areas increased by 10.45% and 1.51%, respectively. On the other hand, from 2016 to 2021, agricultural lands and rangelands have decreased by 0.75 and 1.25 percent, respectively, and barren and salty lands, urban and man-made areas have increased by 1.51 and 0.5 percent, respectively. Also, from 2011 to 2021, agricultural lands and rangelands decreased by 6.45 and 6.32 percent, respectively, and land use of barren and salty lands, urban and man-made areas increased by 11.96 and 0.8 percent, respectively. The study of the trend of land use changes showed that in this period of 10 years, the trend of destruction of agricultural lands and rangelands was decreasing, and barren and saline land and urban and man-made areas were increasing. The changes in desertification classes showed that the medium, high, and very high desertification classes have increased. The area of desert lands rose from 3428, 2817, and 1340 in 2011 to 4079, 4276, and 4302 Km2 in 1400, respectively. Low and very low classes have changed from 2826 and 5295 in 2011 to 574 and 2475 Km2 in 2021. These changes indicate an increase in desertification in Isfahan, which is due to land-use changes, especially the conversion of rangelands into agricultural lands and frequent droughts and drying of the Zayanderud River, which abandoned agricultural lands and turned them into barren and salty lands.

On the other hand, with the dryness of the air, frequent droughts, and drying of the Zayanderud River, the soil moisture has decreased, which has caused salinization of the soil and increased unusable quality lands of this city. Also downstream of Zayanderud River is Gavkhoni Wetland, one of the most important wetlands in Iran. Due to the reduction of incoming water, the surrounding beds have become barren and saline lands, which indicates the increasing desertification of this wetland.

Conclusion

It can be concluded that by using the indicators estimated from remote sensing images, it is possible to monitor the destruction and desertification process with reasonable accuracy and put the necessary measures to deal with this destructive phenomenon on the agenda. In this study, the process of land degradation in Isfahan city was estimated over time, based on which the necessary programs and policies can be applied to deal with this phenomenon.
