Abstract :
Patriotism is one of mankind’s reflections and a symbol of national identity in different eras. Patriotism in Persian poetry has two aspects: When the country is conquered by invading country/ countries and when the awakening occurs. The second occurs in awakening era. Many believe that the concept of patriotism in Persian poetry was rather promoted in constitutional era. So the main question of this study is: What factors affected the concept of homeland in different eras of persion poetry? This study attempts to be based on Shuubiya both politically and socially. The study of Shuubiyya era indicates that Patriotism was rather affected by racial and ethical issues.
