A survey and an analysis of the narrative process of the story of Leyli and Majnoun in the 10th century

Abstract :

The story of Leyli and Majnoun had paid attention in all periods of Persian poetry and many works has emerged in the name and description of Leili and Majnoun`s love. The most prominent Persian Leyli and Majnoun is Nizami`s work and plenty of poets have imitated him in the field of word and content, that the works of poets like jami, Maktabi and Hatefi are more prominent. Most of researchers have attributed this imitation to Nizami in all periods of composing Leily and Majnoun. This topic has been criticized in this essay, in descriptive, analytical and comparative method. For this purpose, the story of Leyli and Majnoun by Helali Goghatai, Ghasemi gonabadi and Abdi Beig Navidi Shirazi which have composed in the 10th century, have compared with the works of Nizami, Maktabi and Hatefi. The result of this study shows that the composers of epopees which have composed in the 10th century, have been affected by Maktabi and Hatefi more than Nizami in planning of their stories and also had innovations.
