Abstract :
The present research with the title: How the archetypal (mythological-mystical) role of the mother in the novels: My Ahoo's Husband and I Turn Off the Lights has been considered in order to analyze the role of "mother" in these novels with analytical-descriptive method and from this To show the reader the perspective of the spiritual dimensions of the main characters of the story, "Ahoo" and "Clarice". What was obtained from the search is that: both authors were able to put the socio-political atmosphere of the time under the psychological atmosphere (based on archetypal symbolic characteristics) and the spiritual aspects of these two female characters (=mother)) and make the reader's eyes align with them. Ali Mohammad Afghani has depicted the maternal character of the story with all the ups and downs that a mother's life can have, so that when this work is looked at with the modern view of psychological criticism, the mythological images that are associated with the mother in the mind can be seen. He saw the place of this work clearly. Also, in her story, Zoya Pirzad has expressed the hidden insides of a true mother with a feminine elegance, and from this point of view, her story can be seen based on the positive and spiritual archetype of the mother.
