Revolution in poetic Language: The Integration of Kristeva's the Semiotic and the Symbolic Orders in Molana's Divan-e-Shams

Abstract :
Post-structuralism has opened new perspectives in philosophical, linguistic and literary studies recently. Julia Kristeva's thoughts have shed new lights in the comprehension of the convoluted texts. Since her theories are difficult to grasp, few practical studies have been done in the analysis of literary and artistic texts in Iran. A Major part of her theories refers to the Semiotic and the Symbolic orders of language. In her thought, language is the total sum of both of these orders and the interaction and the integration of these two make the signification process possible. The current research aims to trace the magical integration of the Semiotic and the Symbolic orders in Molana's Divan-e-Shams through descriptive-analytical approach and hence, sheds new light on mysterious and unknown aspects of his artistic words. Divan-e-Shams showcases the perfect example of the integration of the Semiotic and the Symbolic in the intersections of language and psychoanalysis which offers a kind of poetic jouissance for readers. In this work, deep mystic concepts and themes are expressed in the most musical and aesthetic forms.
