Abstract :
Abstract:
The aim of the present study was to develop and validate a family-centered art-based perceptual-motor intervention program for children with behavioral problems. The qualitative research method and the statistical population were university professors in the field of psychology and art in Tehran, who were selected through purposive sampling and interviews to the saturation level of 11 people. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview. The data analysis was performed using a coding method in three stages: coding of main themes, coding of sub-themes, and extracted open codes. The results showed that the main themes (axial coding) of the family-centered art-based perceptual-motor intervention program for children with behavioral problems were developed in eight cases, including: body awareness, sensory integration, motor planning, bilateral motor integration, balance skills, strengthening fine muscles, strengthening gross muscles, and visual function skills. Conclusion: The family-centered art-based perceptual-motor intervention program can be used by therapists to solve the problems of children with behavioral problems
