Abstract :
The current research was conducted with the aim of applying the four-component instructional design model for teaching internship lessons in order to develop teaching skills (design, implementation, assessment) in student teachers and comparing its effectiveness with the common educational method of internship lessons. According to the objectives of the research, this research is a part of applied research and in order to collect data, it is part of quasi-experimental research. In the present study,a pre-test-post-test design with a control group was used. The statistical population is all student teachers of the 8th semester of Farhangian University in Mazandaran province in the academic year of 1400-1401. A random cluster sampling method was used for sampling. A 16-session training course with a task-centered approach and based on the four-component model was designed and implemented for student teachers. After the completion of the training course,in order to measure the effectiveness of the four-component model in the acquisition of teaching skills (design, implementation, assessment) in comparison with the common training environments of student teachers, a researcher-made and standardized tool was used, and the experimental group and the control group were compared with each other in terms of the effectiveness of the teaching process of student teachers. The statistical results showed a significant difference in the mean of the variables between the control group and the experimental group and indicated that the application of task-centered instruction and the four-component model of instructional design is effective in acquiring teaching skills (design, implementation, assessment) by student teachers.
