Abstract :

The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of the summer book reading program in deepening the reading culture among female students of the 4th grade of elementary school in the 4th district of Karaj (case study: student education media (Shad), which is practical in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of type) It is semi-experimental with post-test with two experimental and control groups. The statistical population included 2000 students of non-profit schools in the 4th district of Karaj. Also, two groups of 40 students were selected as a statistical sample and randomly assigned to the experimental group and The control group was divided. The experimental group received the educational package of the book reading plan (a reduced sample of the summer book reading plan of education and education). The research tool includes the educational package and also a researcher-made questionnaire, the validity of which is higher than 0.8 based on the CVR coefficient. obtained and the reliability was obtained using Cronbach's alpha test for the entire questionnaire was 0.81. After collecting the data, it was analyzed using SPSS24 software. The results showed that the summer book reading plan led to careful study, learning Deep, per capita promotion of reading and development of reading culture, easy access to new publications among students. Therefore, it is recommended to guide students in the direction of increasing reading per capita by implementing book reading programs and using its benefits.
