Abstract :
Today, paying attention to environmental issues in planning, activities and development measures can be an effective step to improve the environment and improve the quality of life. The economic, social, cultural and political conditions of the country have posed challenges to the future of the environment, and it is necessary to investigate and identify them in order to manage and improve the quality of the environment. The present study examines the effect of environmental factors, technological developments and global oil price on the foreign currency income of oil exporting countries in the period from 2000 to 2022 using the panel data approach. The results have shown that the emission of carbon dioxide as an environmental factor has a positive and significant effect on foreign exchange income. Also, Technological developments, oil prices and exchange rates have a positive and significant impact on foreign exchange income. This shows that the studied oil countries turn to increasing their economic activities in order to increase their foreign exchange income, which causes the release of environmental pollutants in space and the increase of carbon dioxide emissions.
