The existence of mediating actors such as Oman, Qatar, Iraq, China, the United Arab Emirates, etc. show differences and conflicts in Iran's foreign policy with other countries, and by using these actors, Iran is trying to reduce differences and establish peaceful relations with the countries of the Middle East region and the global arena, especially with In this article, an attempt is made to investigate the mediation of various actors to resolve the differences between Iran and the United States. Therefore, the question of this article is: What factors have caused Iran to become a mediator to resolve the differences with the United States? The hypothesis of this research, which is tried to be proven by using the analytical and explanatory research method and emphasizing the concept of "identity", is: America as an "other" and " "Enemy" has become an identity and a meaning in Iran's foreign policy and the Islamic Republic has defined itself as the leader and standard-bearer of the resistance front in the region and the world against the domination system led by the United States.
