Abstract :
Proverbs are one of the most important literary genres in oral literature that arose among ordinary people and were passed down from one generation to another, The presence of a noticeable weight and tone in most proverbs has caused the words used in them to undergo less linguistic changes with the passage of time, and to maintain their originality to a large extent. Therefore, it is very important to examine the proverbs in each of the Iranian dialects. Due to the gradual loss of dialects, a large part of the cultural and linguistic heritage of Iran has been exposed to destruction. Therefore, in order to protect this ancient heritage, it is necessary to collect the proverbs in the dialects, including the dialects of the Talashi language. Therefore, in the current research, by examining some proverbs from Northern Talashi, we have examined a number of ancient words that have remained largely immune to linguistic changes and have determined the evolution of these words. In addition to that, the Persian equivalent of each proverb is also mentioned, before examining the evolution of vocabulary.
