Abstract :
Pragmatics, as a result-oriented cognitive system, attempts to clarify the speaker's objective goals with its knowledge of the strategy of the discursive text. Therefore, objective meaning, by revealing the value of the proposition outside the linguistic world, in the sense of searching for the practical dimension of the proposition, is the basis of interpretation. Pragmatics transforms linguistic action into an event in the world that seeks expression through communication. John Searle's theory of speech acts is one of the activities carried out to prove the determining role of ordinary language in the development of meanings; because his theory is based on three dimensions that each executive action is different from the other, which are: the goal of achievement, the direction of compliance (conformity), and the condition of honesty. Yahya al-Samawi's poetry is distinguished by its inclusion of multiple topics, spatial and temporal diversity, and other indicators of the existential context, and the possibility of the emergence of rhetorical exchange between all parties and diverse textual contexts.pragmatic techniques used in Yahya al-Samawi's poetry that have enriched his poetry. between descriptive (news) speech acts and performative speech acts, and most of these acts have meanings other than direct meanings that can be achieved through the role and place of their appearance. Speech acts also reveal the purposes of speech and its non-explicit aspects in his poetry, where, relying on the functional method of language, the meanings of attention, cooperation, assistance, and respect are conveyed.
