Organizational Agility Assessment in Higher Education Institutions and its impact on organizational flexibility (Case study: Employees of Islamic Azad University, Bandar AbbasBranch)

Abstract :
Organizational agility is one of the most important and discussed issues in the field of organizational management. On the other hand, organizational flexibility is a factor impacting on the life cycle and organizational activity. Based on this, the present study is conducted in order to investigate the relationship between organizational agility and organizational flexibility in higher education institutions within a case study of the employees of the Islamic Azad University, Bandar Abbas Branch. For this purpose, using cluster sampling method 159 employees of the mentioned university were selected and studied. Data collection tool is a standardized questionnaire based on existing scientific backgrounds that is collected, compiled and modified. Then, its validity and reliability is examined. Data analysis and the research hypotheses’ test is done through factor analysis and structural equations using Smart PLS software. The results of the study revealed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the two variables of organizational agility and employee flexibility. Accordingly, it can be suggested that to increase the rate of organizational flexibility, organizational agility should be improved.
