Abstract :
Manpower should be considered as the most important asset of an organization that plays a key and important role in achieving its goals. Today, organizations spend a lot of money to attract and retain human resources so as not to lag behind other competitors in the field of competition.Human resources, as the most key organizational resources, will be used efficiently and effectively when managed with a strategic attitude. Strategic approach in human resource management means using new techniques and methods that the organization can rely on to respond to the unstable environment and mobilize human resources to gain a competitive advantage. The main topic of this study is to investigate the impact of strategic human resource management on organizational performance. The statistical population of Bank Mellat employees in Tehran is in region 1 and by random sampling method, 180 people were selected as the population and a questionnaire was used to collect information in the field. Pearson correlation test using SPSS 19 software was also used to test the hypotheses. The results showed that strategic human resource management has a significant effect on organizational performance.
