Human Resources Agility Model: An Analysis of Automotive After-Sales Services Companies in Iran

Abstract :
The main purpose of this study is to develop human resource agility model in Automotive After-Sales Services Companies in Iran. The approach for the qualitative part of the study is based on Grounded theory. The data gathering tool was a semi-structured interview with 18 managers and deputies of human resources who were selected by snowball sampling. Human resource agility codes and components (115 key concepts, 52 subcategories, 22 main categories) of the interviews were summarized and formulated in a conceptual grounded model. The core category is human resource agility which is defined in four dimensions: Definition, Model Properties, Applications and Differences, was analyzed and due to causal conditions, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, strategies and the results the final model was developed. Then, a questionnaire was designed and modified by Delphi research method and the initial model was modified and approved by experts. In model testing, research hypotheses were formulated and a questionnaire was designed and tested by 120 managers and senior experts to collect and analyze data and test hypotheses using confirmatory factor analysis methods and path analysis model using PLS and SPSS softwares was performed. The results of the quantitative phase showed that the relationships in the model with acceptable impact coefficients were confirmed and did correspond with qualitative section
