The Relationship between Social Desirability and self-Efficacy with Happiness (Case study: Students of Islamic Azad University, Neka Branch)

Abstract :
The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between social desirability and self-efficacy with happiness graduate students. This research is a descriptive and correlational study. The statistical population consisted of all 190 undergraduate students at the Islamic Azad University of Neka. Sample size According to Krejcy and Morgan table, 127 individuals were selected randomly (gender).The tools that have been used in this research are: Social Desirability questionnaire, general self-efficacy questionnaire and happiness questionnaire. The validity of the tool is confirmed by the experts and Specialists. Their reliability for each respectively was 0.87, 0.81 and 0.88, using Cronbach's alpha test. The data has been analyzed by using the statistical methods of Pearson correlation and multiple regressions. The results have shown that the level of social desirability, self-efficacy and happiness of male and female students was not different. Also there is a positive relationship between social desirability and self-efficacy with Happiness of students. And the share of each dimension of the self-efficacy is different in predicting the happiness of the students.
