Consolidation of Ephedrine in Meso Cavities of SBA-16 and complex by Molybdenum for preparation of heterogeneous catalyst for epoxation of Cyclohexane

Abstract :
Heterogeneous storage of homogenous catalysts, by its covalent connections on mineral substrates has attracted more attention in recent years. Heterogeneous catalyst has more benefits such as easy isolation from reaction compound and ability to reuse in compare to homogenous type. However, generally in homogenous reactions, homogeneous catalytic systems show more activity. Regarding to this, researchers try to combine the benefits of different types of catalysts. In this research, try to produce new heterogeneous catalyst of molybdenum by this method and its catalytic effect investigated. Characterization of this catalyst was conducted by FTIR, XRD, scanning electron microscopy and atomic absorption. Consolidation of Ephedrine in meso cavities of SBA-16 and complex of the resulting material with MoO2(acac) lead to the production of heterogeneous MoO2 (acac-eph/Si-SBA-16).
