Abstract :
Cancer is the second cause of death in the entire world. Treatment methods of this illness always are deficient and despite available therapies, exist need to explore new methods for treatment of this illness. The purpose of this research was the synthesis of Fenchil-3, 4-dimetoxy benzoate by esterification between Fenchil-3,4- dimetoxy benzoate and investigation on the cellular toxicity and anticancer effect of this compound on the prostate cancer cells PC3 and human fibroblasts cells HFF3 in in vitro condition. Cellular toxic effects and the cell death u nder the effect of different concentrations of FDB in time period of 24, 48, 72 hours conducted by spectrophotometric method and by investigation on the level of Alamarblo reduction and IC50 was determined in every case.
