Abstract :
In this study, an oxidation method for cutting and multi-walled carbon nanotubes open end which have been synthesized by chemical vapor deposition, is studied. Prototypes and operations by visible and ultraviolet spectroscopy (UV-visible), as well as analysis of optical microscopy (OM) and transmission electron (TEM) and scanning (SEM) were studied. The results showed that the durations of oxidation and heating with electromagnetic waves, leading to a reduction in the length of carbon nanotubes is 40 minutes from 79 micrometers to 1 micrometer. This is due to the ease and speed of operation, can be used as an effective method for longitudinal and production of carbon nanotubes used Nanvrybvn.
