Abstract :
In recent years, biodiesel has found significance as an alternative for fossil fuels. Biodiesel has advantages such as lubricant and have high combustion efficiency. In addition, it is toxic and biodegradable. Therefore, it can be used as fuel in diesel engines. Three technics of loading KOH on the basis of clinoptilolite natural zeolite catalyst was used in order to prepare biodiesel from Capparis oil for the importance of using heterogeneous catalyst in industry for its high adapt ability with environment and ability of evaluation after the process in this research. The catalyst had the ability of producing biodiesel only in one of loadings which was after the optimization step in presence of 0.5 gr catalyst in ratio of 1:11 alcohol to oil in 60°C for 4 hr. The characteristics of catalyst were examined by XRD, SEM and EDX spectrums and finally FTIR spectrum was taken from the produced products and compared with the characteristics of standard spectrum.
