The Effect of Temperature in The Furnace Fuel on Pollutant Emissions of Nox Using CFD
Subject Areas : The Application of Chemistry in Environment
Keywords: Combustion, NOx, pollutant, Furnace,
Abstract :
The main sources of pollutants emissions to the atmosphere are placed to same raw by human activities. Among the sources of human emissions, combustion processes have largest share. Combustion processes in the oil and gas industries emit the large amounts of air pollutants that cause damaged to the environment. As a result of the combustion process, many gaseous pollutants entered to atmosphere which such as NOx can be noted. In the present study, by Computational Fluid Dynamics have been investigating the effects of excess air to reducing the pollutants amount which finally results show that increasing the temperature of the input fuel makes to increase the amount of this pollutant and is not recommended.
