Subject Areas : The Application of Chemistry in Environment
Keywords: FTIR, Methotrexate, a ligand, spectroscopy UV,
Abstract :
In this study the interaction of metal ions (Tl + - K +) with methotrexate is discussed. Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) metal-to-ligand binding sites determined by means of UV spectroscopy was used to determine the constant link. References constant K, for the complexes mentioned Ability to represent the bond between the metal and the ligand are respectively: K (MTX-Tl) = 2.54 × 104 M-1 and K (MTX - K) = 1.95 × 105 M-1's. Was determined using FTIR spectroscopy the best place to connect with methotrexate thallium ions are 33N and 9O situations. It was found that the best place to connect with methotrexate potassium ion position is 10N. Indirect interaction is situated in 18O.
