Abstract :
Background and Purpose: The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted organized sport in the community, cancelled, modified or postponed as part of a strategy to reduce transmission of the virus. This has had a significant impact on young athletes in terms of psycho-social, movement-physical considerations and their career development. Material and Methods: The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of covid-19 on young athletes. In this study, related articles from all databases, including Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar, the system of prestigious scientific conferences, Magiran and Noor were examined. Also, in the process of searching for articles, the keywords of corona virus, covid 19, sports activity and corona virus, sports activity and the body's immune system, intense sports activity and the body's immune system were used. Results: Given the limitations of quarantine, the need to overcome inefficient national laws and conditions to provide medical care, finance and implement an effective vaccine program at the local, national and global levels, create adequate herd immunity and create the environment, this disorder is likely to continue for several years. Conclusion: This article will consider the temporal challenges related to the motor-physical and psycho-social importance of maintaining an active sports program for young athletes, that reflecting safety measures to modify sports equipment and environmental supports to allow safe participation in training and competition, and providing advice on gradual return-to-sport protocols for young athletes after contracting Covid-19.
