Abstract :
Khosrow Parviz Sassanid (A.D. 628-590) after removing Bahram Chubin as a claimant to the throne, he was able to dominate the power. Throughout his rule, the Roman Empire and relations with it were considered a fundamental variable that was influential in the internal developments of the Sassanid Empire. In these relations, which at one point were peaceful and at other times accompanied by war, Christianity was at the center of developments. Therefore, in the current research, we are looking for an answer to the question, what effect did Christianity have on Khosrow Parvez's relationship with Christians in the Sassanid Empire and the Roman Empire? The findings of the research, which were carried out with descriptive-analytical methods and library studies, show that Khosrow Parviz, who at the beginning of his reign considered himself a debtor to the Roman Empire, tried to use Christianity as a lever to consolidate power in order to dominate the government. to be He then married two Christian noblemen and developed good relations with Christians. Nevertheless, the erosive conflicts of the Sassanids and the Romans in the border areas, the dissatisfaction of the Zoroastrian priests with the spread of Christianity within the empire, as well as the religious conflicts between the Nestorian and Jacobite Christians changed Khosrow Parvez's attitude towards the Christians to a great extent over time.
