Abstract :
With the end of the Arab attacks and their territorial and border expansion in the territory of the Sasanian era, the people of Iran caused several uprisings due to the prejudice and discrimination of the Arab rulers. Later these uprisings and rebellions appeared in the form of local governments such as Taherians and Safaris. The investigation of the sources shows that the local rulers such as Taherians and Safaris were among the famous generals of the Abbasid army, due to the support of the people and the army, they turned towards the declaration of independence in cities such as Neishabur, Bast and Zaranj. Each of these local rulers were originally part of the Abbasid army and one of the commanders of the Islamic empire and were under their military teachings, and due to the conflict of interests between local rulers such as Taheri and Safari, it led to the formation of local systems in which The role of military personnel in the formation of these governments is very important. The subject of the army and militia of the early governments of Iran, such as the Taherian and Saffarian dynasties, is one of the interesting topics in historical research, and the following article intends to discuss the issue of the army and militia of the adaptations-modeling-military-formed in the governmental structure of the Taherians and Safaris.
