Abstract :
According to advances and widespread changes in various aspects of human life and the need to deduce the religious law in new issues, the need for intellectual reason is felt more than ever. To study the Intellectual Principles and Opinions of Imam Khomeini on Molazemeh rule and application intellectual reason, investigation of reasoning jurisprudential and principled texts, votes and fatawas was done based on the content analysis method. The result of the research indicates this issue. About intellectual reason from viewpoint Imam Khomeini, he considered "intellect" as a source for the inference of rulings; hence he defined the realm between the ruling of intellect and the ruling of Shari’ah. He also considered intellect as an instrument for understanding the the Ketab and the Sunnah. The jurisprudential opinions of Imam Khomeini in some matters clearly indicate the position of intellect in the inference of religious rules in his view. For example, the documentation of the necessity of the establishment of an Islamic state is due to intellectual reason and the preliminaries and intellectual reasoning.
