The comparison of relation between emotional intelligence with mental health and academic achievement in girl students with employed and unemployed mother

Abstract :
The purpose of this research investigated the relationship between emotional intelligence and mental health and academic achievement, and comparison of that between girl students with employment and unemployment mother. 328 female students were selected from two area guidance school education in Rasht, the academic year 1390-1391 to the cluster sampling. The students responded Bar-on emotional intelligence and Golberg mental health questionnaires. Using the pearson correlation analysis showed there was a negative and significant relationship in two group of girls with employment and unemployment mother, between all of the emotional intelligence and mental health subscales less than 0/01. Result of T-test showed there was no difference between girls with employment and unemployment mother, but there was significant difference between two groups of girls in academic achievement.
