Survey the effect of combination the systematic desensitization and studying skills education on students' test anxiety

Abstract :
the objective of present study was to determination the effectiveness of combination the systematic desensitization and studying skills education on students' test anxiety. the study population was the junior secondary school students in the kazeron city. Sample include 60 junior secondary school students that through simple random sampling method were selected among test anxious student and randomly designate into three experimental and one control groups. Data were gathered by abolghasemi test anxiety scale and structured clinical interview. the one way Anova results showed significant differences between systematic desensitization, studying skills education, combination approach (systematic desensitization and studying skills education) and control groups in students' test anxiety. Also bonferoni multi comparison test showed that orderly combination approach, systematic desensitization, studying skills education were effective in reduction of students' test anxiety. with the significant effect of systematic desensitization and studying skills education on reduction of students' test anxiety, the combination approach (systematic desensitization and studying skills education) was more efficient on reduction of students' test anxiety.
