Impact of Information Technology Training on Human Resource Development

Abstract :
With the advent of information and communication technology and its rapid growth in society, Necessity of IT Training especially in education and government organizations is very important.The Purpose of the Present research was to investigate the role of Information Technology training on human resource development in Public Organizations. The method of the research was descriptive- survey. The statistical population was consisted of the staff of government organizations in Bushehr province. By Using of the two-phase method, 150 persons were selected as samples. The required data were collected by using a questionnaire with a Cronbach,s alpha of 0/924 for the component IT training and 0/897 for the component of human resource development. To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics methods by SPSS software was used. The results show that IT training has significant correlation with human resource development (except knowledge dimension). Also, between the Attitude of staff about the impact of IT training and human resource development based on Work experience (except work knowledge) and, by education level (except Occupational Attitudes and behavior) is a significant difference.
