Backgrouds of formation ideas of anti-government in Mashhad in the eve of constitutional revolution

Abstract :
Mashhad experienced one of its critical periods from 1300 to 1324 AH. Anti-government riots, social and political crises, and foreign interference were among the most serious issues during this period. The conflicts and crises are collectively referred to as Mashad revolution, which destabilized Qajar and paved the way for anti-tyranny movement. Among events taking place during this period were five-month riot of people in Mashad against Asef’o’dole Shirazi in the las decade of Naserodin Shah era, interferences of Russia and England, increasing dissatisfaction of people, Tobacco movement, mismanagement of governors in Khorasan just before the constitution revolution, the riot of people in Mashad in 1323 AH,and people’s being shot in Gonbad ordered by Asef’o’dole Shahsavan. The paper tries to investigate the causes of dissatisfaction among people in mashad resorting to different sources.
