Abstract :
Ghazan Khan aot to position of Ilkhani in 1295 BC, weth the begunning of his reign, the enternal 4 year war initiating after the death of Arghon Khan, ended. Ilkhani government formally accepted Islam religion. The affect of acceptance the religion by Ghazan from the political point of views, was nat oy less importance abroad than at home , because his adherence to Islam , in spite of ewery expectation The enmity from Egypt Mamalik and Sham was never on the decrease, and the battle between them went on in the same way as his ancestors (hulagu and Abagh). Ghazan sent military forces against mamalik in 699 AH then in 700 and in 703 AH . Except in 699 in the battle of maymaol moravej where he won the battle he was defeated during two next attacks. This article is to survey the backgrounds cowers and the pretexts of Ghazankhan for attacking to sham and to value his winning a war , and to criticize the two other unsuccessful ones.
