Abstract :

The purpose of this study is to investigate the social and economic developments of Khorasan in the second century of Hijri and the effectiveness of the Abbasid government. The research method in this study is descriptive-historical. The Abbasid government brought about important events in Khorasan from the social and economic point of view. During the Abbasid period, caliphate was used as a necessity as well as a religious and social need for the development of economic and social relations. The study of how the Abbasids worked and the history of their caliphate in the mentioned period shows that the victory and authority of the Abbasid government owes to factors such as the relentless efforts of the Iranians and the support of the predecessors of the Umayyad opposition parties and groups, the existence of a regular and ethnic communication network between The Abbasid family and their followers and establishing a strong connection between the Abbasid and Alevi da'wah. Due to the special economic situation, after the arrival of the Abbasid government, there was such a good prosperity. One of the important reasons for the many economic potentials in Khorasan can be mentioned. The economy of Khorasan always had positive changes and prospered under Abbasid rule. Because Khorasan was the point between the regions in the direction of the contact of different regions.
