The relationship between knowledge management and organizational innovation in sports and youth administration

Abstract :
AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge management and organizational innovation in sports and youth administration. The method of the present study is descriptive and was implemented with a correlation design. The statistical population of the present study consisted of managers and employees of the Sports and Youth Department of the cities of Zanjan province, and 56 people were selected and studied through targeted and accessible sampling. Using the standard questionnaire of Hwang's organizational innovation, three dimensions of organizational innovation, i.e. production innovation, administrative innovation and process innovation, and with the standard questionnaire of Salis knowledge management, five dimensions of knowledge management, namely knowledge creation, knowledge acquisition, knowledge storage, knowledge sharing and knowledge application. It was evaluated and recorded. Data analysis was done using descriptive statistics and statistical methods of Pearson's correlation coefficient and linear regression in SPSS version 25 and at a significance level of 0.05. The results of the research indicate the existence of a meaningful relationship between knowledge management and organizational innovation, and knowledge management predicts the dimensions of organizational innovation in sports and youth administration. According to the research findings, it is suggested to pay attention to the knowledge management component in order to achieve organizational innovation in sports and youth departments.
