Relationship of Spiritual Intelligence with Academic Achievement and Happiness in Girls High School students in Tehran

Abstract :
The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between spiritual intelligence with academic achievement and happiness in Girls High School student in Tehran. Statistical population of the present study is consisted of students in Girls’ High schools in Tehran that are a total of 245,897 students and 385 of them were selected as research sample by using multistage cluster sampling method and completed Oxford’s Happiness Index (OHI) and AMRAAM’s (2007) Spiritual Intelligence Questionnaire. In the end, data collected from research questionnaires were analyzed by regression analysis test and results indicated that there is a relationship between spiritual intelligence with students’ academic achievement and happiness in Girls High Schools in Tehran. It was also indicated that there is a relationship between spiritual intelligence dimensions (overall thinking and beliefs, ability to cope problems, self-awareness and love and interest, moral individualities) with students’ academic achievement and happiness in Girls High Schools in Tehran.
