Abstract :
In the present paper, fuzzy theory is used for the analysis of landslides and the state of Mohammad Abadlandslide, located in Jiroft- Kerman road, is investigated using this method. Shear strength parameters, unitweight and piezometric level which have uncertainty are selected as variables and the statistic distribution ofthese parameters are obtained using best fit software. Also, using the limit equilibrium method, sensivity analysisis done the shear strength parameters with respect to the safety factor. Finally, the parameters are chosen as thefuzzy set and the stability analysis is done based on the limit equilibrium method. Results show that, since thefuzzy set considers a range of safety factors, stability analysis is done with more certainty and also, as the resultsshow, the considered landslide is unstable
