The effectiveness of Lolopi 0+ Literary Mathematics Education package on the development of creative thinking of pre-school children

Abstract :
Purpose: The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of the Lolopi + 0 Literary Mathematics Education package on the development of creative thinking of preschool children. Method: This research used a semi-experimental research method and a pre-test-post-test type with a control group in terms of its practical purpose and data collection method. The statistical population of the research was all the male and female preschool students of Bistun city, Kermanshah province. 38 people were selected by available sampling method and randomly replaced in two groups of 19 people (experimental and control). The experimental group received the Lolopi + 0 educational package for twelve consecutive weeks and three 30-minute sessions per week. The tool for data collection was Torrens Creative Thinking Questionnaire (2009) visual form (b). Descriptive statistics (table, frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (multivariate and univariate analysis of covariance test) were used for analysis. Results: The findings of the research showed that 24.6% of the variance of the innovation dimension, 28.5% of the variance of the extension dimension, 18.4% of the variance of the fluidity dimension and 9.4% of the variance of the flexibility dimension are caused by the experimental conditions (001 /0>P). Lolopi 0+ math-literary educational package has an effect of 36.7% on the creative thinking of preschool children. Conclusion: Lolopi + 0 Literary Mathematics package training has an effect on the development of creative thinking and its components (initiative, expansion, fluidity and flexibility). Therefore, it can be used in preschool centers to teach literacy through literature.
