The effect of running on positive and negative slopes and consumption of royal jelly on the expression of serotonin and dopamine receptor genes in hippocampus of male rats with Alzheimer's disease

Abstract :
Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of running on a positive and negative slope with royal jelly on the expression of serotonin and dopamine receptor genes in hippocampal tissue in male rats with Alzheimer's disease. Materials and Methods: Forty-eight male rats received peritoneal trimethyltin chloride for Alzheimer's induction. Animals after Alzheimer's into 8 groups of 6series including victim first week, Alzheimer's victim last week, Royal Jelly, Sham, negative slope training, positive slope training, negative slope training with Royal Jelly, slope training Positives were divided with royal jelly. Also, 12male rats were used to control the effect of time. The endurance training program consisted of eight weeks of incremental running on a treadmill with a slope of +15 and -15,speed of 15 to 20meters per minute and for 15to 20minutes in each session with three repetitions per week. Royal jelly was administered 100mg/kg/d for eight weeks. 48hours after the last intervention, the hippocampal tissue was removed and sent to the laboratory. Results: The results of this study showed that Alzheimer's induction reduced the expression of serotonin and dopamine receptor genes in hippocampal tissue in male rats. Running in both positive and negative slopes significantly increased the expression of serotonin and dopamine receptor genes in hippocampal tissue in male rats with Alzheimer's disease. Royal jelly also showed a similar effect to exercise. Conclusion: As a conclusion, exercise in both positive and negative slopes, as well as the use of royal jelly as solutions to improve Alzheimer's disease.
