Examining the Stylistic Features of the Novel "Wounded Night" with a Critical Stylistics Approach

Abstract :

This research seeks to analyze the novel "Wounded Night" from the perspective of critical stylistics and to answer the question of how one can achieve the hidden ideology of text using specific stylistic components.In this article, the novel was considered by descriptive -analytical method based on critical stylistics. after examining the outer layer and situations of the text, components such as: focalistic and focalistic, continuity of focalization, frequency and long, extent of place and time, as well as lexical, syntactic and rhetorical wisdom, under two narrative and textual metropolis were examined. The purpose of this research is to show how language can reproduce ideology and social concepts and guide the reader to a deeper interpretation of the novel. The results of the research indicate that there is a deep opposition between the ideology of "struggle" and the ideology of "dictatorship". The hidden ideology of the novel, on the one hand, shows the suppression of the struggle by the ruling system, and on the other hand, the inaction and protest of the fighters against the tyranny of the ruling power. The language of the novel has been able to reproduce the mentioned ideologies in the novel. Therefore, the ideological gap has had a significant impact on different layers of the language.
