Abstract :
Analyzing and investigating the issue of tyranny in the history of Iran has been a serious and troublesome challenge for writers and poets of every political-historical period in many ways, and in the contemporary history of Persian literature, it is one of the most fundamental concerns of the contemporary Iranian writer, researcher and director, Bahram Bayzaei. It is a question of tyranny. This issue shows itself in the writing of many of his plays, among which "four chests" has a special role. Because the form of the play shows a perfect model of forming and establishing tyranny in the society. In this article, an attempt is made to examine the text of the play for the nature of the formation of tyranny, and its influence among the people of the society. Therefore, we analyze the autocratic archetype and autocratic symbols and people in the society. The basic question in this article is whether the author created this play in response to a specific historical period or whether the model shown in it goes beyond its specific time and place? By looking at the text, we find out that the author's view on the issue of tyranny, while paying attention to his time, is a historical view and beyond the specific characters of the time, and this feature is due to the symbolism that can connect the play to any period regardless of his time.
