The Relationship between Social Capital, Psychological Capital and Social Security with Sleep Health in Working Women

Abstract :
ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between social capital, psychological capital and social security with sleep health of working women in District 10 of Tehran. The method of this study was descriptive and correlational. In order to achieve the research objectives, 300 women were selected by simple and accessible random sampling method which included all employed women living in 10th district of Tehran who were working and earning income in 1402-1402. Data were collected by demographic questionnaire, Becker and colleagues' Sleep Health Questionnaire, the short form of social capital questionnaire Alizadeh Aghdam et al. (2014), the Psychological Capital Questionnaire of Lutans et al. (PCQ) and Hashemzehi and Mahdavi's Social Security Questionnaire (2012). Data analysis was performed by SPSS 24 software and the data were analyzed by Pearson statistical method to investigate the correlation between independent variables (social security, psychological capital and social capital) and dependent variable (sleep health), and regression coefficient to investigate the rate of prediction of dependent variable through independent variables. The findings indicated that there is a positive and significant relationship between the sleep health of employed women with social capital, psychological capital and social security, which means that sleep health of these people increased with the increase of social security, psychological capital and social capital, and with the decrease of social capital, psychological capital and social security in these people, their sleep health decreased; Also, based on the findings, it was observed that social capital, psychological capital and social security are able to positively predict the sleep health of working women.
