Martyr Motahari’s Perspective on Woman’s Social Identity

Abstract :
This article reflected the intellectual foundation of the martyr master Morteza Motahari and his approach to personal and social rights of women in the society. In this paper, based on some writings, speeches and notes of the martyr master Morteza Motahari, human status of women, especially her social identity, was concerned. The study showed the master's perspective that uttered the woman’s human being aspect was denied in old days and recognized her as a female and on the other hand in modern era because of the importance of humanity, her "woman" facet was neglected. Due to the presence of women in society and their impact on social activities of men ; the martyr master MortezaMotahari considered the women of higher social identities and reffering to the Koran verses and Islamic hadith and doctrines on woman, regardlessof her gender, attributed high personal and social value and esteem.
