Abstract :
In the Holy Qur'an, God has told the story of many prophets in the form of allegory, simile and more importantly in the form of story. Given the importance of the subject of Adam's creation as the first human being, this issue has been addressed in the Holy Qur'an, and many commentators have offered several views on the subject of the creation story. Al-Qadi Al-Nu’man also expressed his mystical and interpretive views on the creation story in his book The Basis of Interpretation. The present article seeks to answer the question: What is the view of Al-Qadi Al-Nu’man in the following verses concerning Adam and Eve? Accordingly, this paper, based on the documentary-analytical approach, seeks to examine and criticize Al-Qadi Al-Nu’man 's intellectual foundations. The findings of this study show that Al-Qadi Al-Nu’man, in his commentary and especially in his mystical interpretations, has used his mental abstractions more than his mental exhortations, except in very few cases of Ahlul-Bayt (AS) narrations. Slave, and in addition, does not mention the sources of his commentary.
