Abstract :
Structural analysis is a systematic method to identify the pattern of relationships between a set of indicators. When there are several indicators in the study of a surah, to find the pattern of relationships between them, it is better to achieve this pattern through the structural method. This article uses the theory of purposefulness of surahs and the structural method based on the fact that the verses of the surah can be categorized according to the main purpose of the surah, using discourse analysis and bottom-up processing by dividing the text into. Smaller units have emerged in response to how the context related to the story of Hud (pbuh) in Surah A'raf is related to other contexts and in relation to the main purpose of the surah. The context related to Hud (pbuh) expresses the behavior of the people towards their prophet and their end. Other contexts of the Surah state the cause of the behavior as obedience to the ancestors and neglect. The connection between the central context and the main purpose of Surah Tasla explains the Prophet's memory and the reasons for the behavior of the people in the age of descent.
