A Look into the European Borrowed Words in Persian and Arabic Languages

Abstract :
In borrowing European words, Persianization is far different from Arabicization. Persians have four letters more than Arabs in their alphabet. They use ";' for both "v" and "w", while Arabs chose "d" for "v". In addition, unlike Persian, there is a serious tendency in Arabic for satiation of Damma and Kasra. However, the causes of differentiation go far beyond these factors; as shown in this research.
